• Loco Pilot Mail – Loco pilots of Mails get the starting salary of ₹60,000 to ₹78000 per month.

• Loco Pilot Goods – Loco pilots of goods get the salary ranges of ₹40,000 to ₹56,000 per month. 

• Loco Pilot Passenger – Loco pilot of passenger grain get the starting from ₹50,000 to ₹66,000. 

• Shunting Loco Pilot – ₹28,000 to ₹38,000 is the salary of shunting loco pilots.

• Loco Pilot High Speed – The loco pilots of the train of high speed get the starting salary ₹77,000 to ₹88,000. 

Loco Pilot Salary Allowances 

There are some allowances add on the salary for the benefits of the loco pilots such as : 

• DA (Dearness Allowances) – Almost get 46% on their basic pay which is Rs 16,284. 
• HRA (House rent allowance) – House rent allowance is almost 24% on the basic pay of Rs. 8496. 
• TA (Transport allowance) – May transport allowance is the fixed one of 2200 to 3500 rs. 
• Kilometrage Allowance – This is based on the kilometre range of Rs 11,500 to Rs 25000.
